In a wide-ranging interview with BBC’s Newsnight, Hunter Biden addressed former US president Joe Biden’s decision to issue him a pardon, his father’s health and whether he has presidential aspirations of his own.
Joe Biden issued an official pardon for Hunter in December 2024, as he faced sentencing for two criminal cases. In a statement at the time, the president said his son had been “singled out” and called his cases “a miscarriage of justice”.
